Benjamin's Hands in motion

 When Benjamin's Hands Foundation began meeting with local organizations, attending homeless council meetings, and speaking directly with individuals experiencing hardship in Carbon County, one challenge surfaced again and again:

Transportation.

Many services already exist throughout our communities. Food pantries, medical providers, employment opportunities, recovery services, showers, and other resources are available.

The problem is often getting there.

For someone without a vehicle, a driver's license, money for fuel, or access to public transportation, a simple doctor's appointment can become impossible. A job interview may be missed. A recovery meeting may go unattended. A family may go without food because they cannot reach available resources.

In rural communities, distance becomes a barrier that many people simply cannot overcome alone.

 Benjamin's Hands in Motion aims to provide transportation assistance to help people access:

• Medical appointments

• Recovery and mental health services

• Food pantries

• Employment opportunities

• Essential community resources

Rides will be provided by request, allowing us to respond directly to individual needs throughout our communities.

 A ride may seem like a small thing—until you don't have one.

In rural communities, transportation can be the difference between making a job interview, attending a recovery meeting, getting to a medical appointment, or accessing essential services.

Many people are working to improve their situation, but opportunity means little if they have no way to reach it.

We're not trying to do the work for people. We're helping remove one of the biggest barriers standing in their way

• Purchasing a reliable vehicle

• Insurance and maintenance

• Fuel and operating costs

Together, we can remove transportation barriers and help our neighbors access the resources they need.

Sometimes Hope doesn't need a miracle.
